Comment:

This mix was inspired by my shorty in Texas, Andrea "Keepin' it" Villarreal (get it.. VillarREAL? Oh I'm so clever.) We got into a conversation about Gangsta Rap and Ghetto tunes and she told me that there was no song more G then Nothin' But A 'G' Thang. I told her I could come up with a few, and so this mix was born. I also Must give props to Kerri "The Queen of The Ghetto", Dj Kev Love, DJ Mike Holmes, and Krazy Mike E in the place to be, who all greatly contributed to track selection. Also a shout out to Boomshanka, the fat cat in the hat, much love hommie :)

All in all not a bad mix for a white guy huh? ;)

Posse On B'way??!?
Is this the same Sir Mix-A-Lot tune redone by the clowns? Y'know, I just saw the video for "Let's Go All the Way". That's a Sly Foxx track (the beats are from an old Boogie Boys song: "Fly Guy"). Have the juggalos decided to sell more CDs/get more airplay with other folks' tunes?? Good move in the sample/sound byte good ol' U.S. of A! :P Nice collection and colourful cover art. Check out my Hip Hop (or Drive-Time series) mixes if you are so inclined.

Actually, the tune was "Fly Girl". "Fly Guy" was the answer to the first. Answer records were popular "black-in- the-day".
