Comment:

This mix is for one of my friends who just finished reading the book, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" I can't be given credit for the entire first side and songs "Blackbird" to "Asleep" on the second side.... those songs are mixed by Stephen Chbosky. Chbosky is the author and the book is composed of letters from Charlie, a high school freshmen. The mix on this tape is one featured in the book, a tape Charlie gave to his friend Patrick for Christmas. When I first read the book two years ago, I got the songs to create the actual mix.... it really gets you into the book more so than if you had just imagined the music. Hearing the songs really gets you into the character, Charlie, and it is the perfect companion for the novel.

Oh, and the Silf and Olly clips are just some songs from the show. Quirky little sound bites I got from my two favorite socks.....

you rock my world!! i read the book a couple years ago and also made the mix to enjoy as a companion...i like your choices of addition too, it's not an easy task to choose just-right songs to follow up such a significant mix but you handled it quite nicely!! rock on dude!!
