I Got You is a great song. And Rock Vodka probably didn't like the 80's because he was probably in a drunken stupor 90 percent of the time.

I wasn't in a drunken stupor. The years were not so good as you kids think. There were some good sounds and on this tape I can cite maybe 6 songs I will admit enjoying. I was not making a judgement of the music on the tape (even if it isn't my taste, I was talking about life in that awful decade.

I can understand what you're saying, Rock Vodka. I assume you're referring to the economic and political situations of the times. If it goes deeper than that, all the way down to personal, I hear you. Oh, and good mix, Martin.

Well, maybe Martin was talking about the good ol days meaning the music of the time. I thought it was a pretty good time to grow up, myself. Every decade had something shitty about it. Also had something great. Maybe it wasn't good for you. Fit me fine.

Thanks for the comments on my mix, everyone! To clarify what I said about the 'good old days', Hooha has it right: I meant the music mainly, although for me the 80's were better than any other decade I lived through (70's/90's). I realise that it's different for everybody though.

PS - check out my other 80's mixes as well!
