Comment:

Yay! I finally bought a compact disc player. I read the instruction manual. (I enjoy reading them. Sometimes you actually do learn something neat about the item by reading through it.) I elected to test its "Program" feature. I got out a bunch of CDs, and loaded them into the machine. It gave me close estimates of each song's timing, and I then marshalled them to fill up a C-90 cassette. When I drove back to Chicago from Baltimore (from the American Homebrewers Association's National Conference in June 1995), I stopped in Columbus, Ohio. On the date I was there, another Camelot Music store was having a supersale on CD box sets. I bought two: Steely Dan, and; Earth, Wind & Fire. That accounts for their double appearances on this mix tape. This cassette was compounded on 17 November 1995.
