Here is a mix tape which is a complete programming effort. I loaded the three CDs of the Earth, Wind & Fire box set to record Side A. The tracks total out to 42:39. I loaded four CDs of Steely Dan's "Citizen" box set to record Side B. They total out to 43:37. I used an off-brand, _Spartan_ [by Hi-Tech], upon which to record this. I honestly cannot detect any lesser standard from any of the recordings I made on the BASF cassettes. I suspect this was produced by some large corporation which did not want to shut down its production line, so it turned out these cassettes for another concern. This was compounded on 3 January 1996. The program feature of the Magnavox CDC748 is very good. It can even be programmed from the front panel.
