i was entrusted with the high responsibility of Opening The Shop the other day, and was instantly flashed back to the bit at the start of Empire Records where Lucas is entrusted with closing. never one to miss an aesthetic moment (or to construct a complex ego-system around me), i made myself a little soundtrack for the occasion. don't strictly approve of mixes constructed any other way than according to how they sound, but hey, it ended up sounding pretty good over the shop P.A.
