So very cool! You must be an aussie, (or love aussie music!) with the picks by Dirty 3, Augie March, Tex, Sodastream, Rich Easton and Art of Fighting.

Indeed I am. You also must be. You have to *at least* be Australian to know Mr Richard Easton... :D

Actually, I'm a "seppo" (from Boston) but hold a permanent residency visa to live here! (in Perth). And after having been here for almost 15 months, I've gotten to know lots of fine aussie artists.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, being a Lucksmiths fan makes me a Candle Records fan as well...(hence, how I know Richard Easton).

Of course...

Did they do the Candle Odyssey in Perth? I went to the Sydney one and it's probably the best value gig I've ever been to... Something like $15 for eight bands artists, and you get to see the Lucky's, Mr Easton, The Mabels, Jodi Phillis (in Deer Hunters back then) Dazza Hazza, Golden Rough etc...

Don't know if they did the Candle odyssey in Perth - not since I've lived here. Did get to see the Luckies for free last March, however, at the Uni. of WA! Awesome show - in a pub with around 75 other people. I got Tali & the gang to sign my cd - and Tali even drew a picture on mine (a dog)!

Slick... They're winners.

N'speakin of Luckies stories, Tali actually stayed at a friend of mine's house when they played our local (Kelts Bar)... And Sodastream and the Salteens were supporting, so the Salteens crashed over too and the other Luckies and Pete'n'Karl crashed at another friend of mine's... My friend had to keep changing his pants...
