Liz Phair is one of my favorite artists, yet my chick singer obsessed friends seem not to know she exists. This is the special mix I make for them to try to get them interested. Sometimes it even works!Feedback:
i love liz phair immensely. personally, i think it's missing some songs from soundtracks ("six dick pimp" her cover of "banana splits") and some of the hard to find stuff off of the girlysounds ('black market white baby dealer' her 'wild thing' cover, amoung others) but i really like this mix. i'm going over the songs in my head and realizing how well they fit together. jolly good show.
Oh wow... Those are all Liz Phair songs I've never even heard of, and I love her. Where did you find these songs, and is it even possible to get them off the net?
Very nice mix. I'm a rabid Liz fan too and I agree with Bobbio. I'd go for the Banana Splits theme, Erecting a Movie Star, and Rocket Boy myself. But great job!
