Here's the concept: my friend Greg and I are inexplicably on some road trip in the deep south. We stop at a Waffle House at 3:00 a.m. for a bite to eat. While we're there, various diners with varying musical taste drop quarters in the juke box. A wide variety of cool and/or cheesy tunes are played, including songs recorded specifically to extol the virtues of Waffle House and, much to our surprise, the recording booth version of Van Halen's "Jump" that Greg and I recorded back in college during the mid-80s. Vol. 2 will include more cool tunes, more Waffle House songs and Greg and I reinventing Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer."
