Comment:

a variation on a tape i made for charlie in the first few weeks we were dating. the original was mostly vinyl to tape and didn't come out quite how i wanted it, so i've changed a few songs around and included more stuff from cd. not sure how much it was appreciated but i sure like it...almost every song is packed with personal meaning and memories. the title references charlie's email address and obviously has nothing to do with the mix...here's a question -- is it repetitive to include a karate song and/or a secret stars song on a mix that already has a geoff farina track? hm. the picture, again, is me me me.

it's not repetitive at all to do the geoff farina/secret stars/karate thing. i do it all the time. you've got some nice stuff on here, too.

its perfectly okay to put on a secret stars and or karate song if youve got geoff already on... i personally think the styles of the 3 abnds differ enough to be able to do it..

including same-siger side projects and the "original" group is always ok on mixes, just as long as you practice good spacing. as far as incorporating jazz into a mix of "regular" music, it is indeed tough, it just happened to work with my "supreme depression over a love long forgotten" mix because i figure "blue in green" would be a great song to drink yourself to death to. you just need to match moods.
