Comment:

Tape for Ion Moe. He asked for "upbeat stuff", and "female-fronted" so I gave him a bit of both, and then some. I included 6 local Perth bands, as well as 7 other Aussie bands. Some notes - Erbs and Pisces is actually Nic Dalton and Tom Morgan of Smudge, who are playing the Replacement's first single (both sides, A&B) together, hence the title - it comes from the compilation "I'm In Love...With That Song - tribute to the Replacements". Thanks to the following people: Marty Andersen, for the Simpletons and Lilac Time songs; Rob Conroy, for the Teenage Fanclub song; and to James, of Melbourne, for the Icecream Hands song. And a nod to my husband, who suggested the CSN&Y song. Title courtesy of the Lucksmiths.

Okay, I peeked! I'm sure I'll like this. I only recognize a couple songs, so I'm in for a fresh listening experience.
