so early tomorrow morning my best friend and i are driving from here in chicago down to texas to see another friend's band - 16 hours of road-tripping freedom! i just made this cd for the journey and all the songs included are joyous and uplifting, which in my opinion are the hardest kind to write well. thank god somebody did though, as there will be hours of singing happily along, i can promise you that! wish me luck, kids...
