Comment:

Since my girlfriend, the only woman that i've truely and honestly loved left me a week ago, i felt that perhaps this mix, seeing as i make a mix for a lot of events in my life, would help me attempt to get over this and perhaps bring closure. Not likely but it's a start. Lots of blues here and quite a bit of Canadian content. Some songs here like 'Groundhog Day' and 'Kindhearted Woman Blues' were songs that we equally enjoyed in each others presence. it huts to hear those songs but they need to be on the mix. Johnny Cash's Unchained, the title track to what i consider to be one of the best albums of all time is probabally the most narrative song for my feelings right now. anyways, give some of these songs a listen to if ever in the same mood. i totally suggest the Tea Party's Edges of Twilight album, great collection of songs relevant to the situation and a good listen to overall. yes, i know that Moby is cliched but it was a necessary addition.

Slick Keb' Mo' choice. I love opening & closing mixes with the same artist, it gives a nice wrap-around feel. And when you're doing break-up mixes, I maintain there is no such thing as cliche!
