So I'm leaving NYC to go to Australia in a little while to study abroad at the University of New South Wales. It's rather an impulse decision and who knows what it will be like -- the flight is like 13 hrs long so I figured I'd better start burning some CDs to get me through it. I tried to start this one off with songs that've got some backbone so I wouldn't wimp out and run off the plane at the last minute. Oh, and the title comes from a course description of a class on the Enlightenment that the University offers. What a bunch of nutjobs, those Australians.
