yeah, it's been a busy week. for mixtapes but especially work-wise. I have two methods of dealing with stress: get super-mellow (side A) or turn the speakers up to 11 and dance/thrash around violently in my room while passers-by poke their heads in and stare (side B). It's my friend Kate's birthday today and she's even more stressed than I am so hopefully this helps. All the songs are "old favorites"-- this is the first tape I've made her and I think she shares my idea of what's comforting -- stuff that might be depressing or agitating to some but somehow does the trick.Feedback:

yeah, the title is sort of on purpose -- I'm not Australian but I enjoy Something for Kate as well. they're good stuff.
i was too expecting some something for kate action...how could you not, even if you didn't like them just purely for tack value. damn nice mix.

yeah, i just found out that Kate is NOT familiar with Something for Kate, as I thought she was. This obviously needs to be remedied . . . vol. 2 coming up after the Papers from Hell are through . . .
