Comment:

This was made for my friend Chris as a farewell mix; he just moved back to Connecticut today. He expressed at one point that no Beatles cover could ever transcend the original--he also has never heard the Chameleons cover of "Tomorrow Never Knows," which I think comes pretty close. He's a pretty big reggae/worldbeat fan, hence the inclusion of the Johnny Clegg track--long live African pop! I loved putting the Blur/Small Faces songs back to back since one is like the 60's equivalent of the other...I think I read somewhere that Blur intended the song as a homage. Overall, this isn't too bad for something I threw together in just a few minutes.
