SLR071 - One of two mixes for Aaron Veenstra. I've owed him a mix for quite some time now, and decided to send 2 to make up for it. I had no real direction when I started just ripping songs I dug, when I noticed that the Tool, Saul Williams and one of the King Crimson tracks were all basically variations of each other (the Saul Williams 'reprise' track is the hidden track from his album, so i just titled it 'reprise' - i don't know if there's an official title). Anyway, I decided to make this mix Duality, and the result is here. I hope he likes it. The Tool song is actually 2 seperate tracks on the album, but seamlessly mixed, so I just edited it into one track..jpg)

wow, it surprises me how much i like this. i caught this thing a while ago on pbs with saul williams doing some shit on stage that instantly converted me to worshipper status (although i think he might be someone i can only really get into in small doses).
I believe the "Wine" reprise you may be referring to is "Purple Pigeons," the original B Side for the Vinyl single of "Penny for a Thought." Not sure, though.
