Elvis Presley and David Bowie share a birthday, January 8th. I've been threatening to make this mix for years. Yes, the Elvis songs lean toward the lightweight, not particularly good movie songs, but I actually find them to be a lot of fun and they work better in this particular context than the far superior Sun Studios songs would. I only wish I could have fit "Clambake" and "Do The Clam" on this, but I would've been up all night trying to figure out what Bowie songs to pair them up with.
