Comment:

This mix has its origins in a 90-minute cassette I made in 1997 to play in the delivery room when our son Jimmy was born. One of my memories of the time we spent in the hospital during that time was how a number of the nurses and doctors commented on how much they enjoyed the music we were playing. With our 2nd baby due in June, I thought I'd use that tape as a basis for a similar CD. I might actually make a second volume. Remember: a child is NEVER too young to be introduced to great music of all types.

Nice idea...couldn't agree with you more about exposing children to great music, particularily classical, at a young age.

that's how i got ruined...my mom was playing beatle records while i was sitting in the crib. "we didn't have cable then, and there wasn't anything on at 4 am." my response: "you do realize that this lead to a life long music addiction, right mom?" nice mix.
