This CD is supposed to be about music from Detroit and I was loooking mostly for music which has a little dearker or harder edge to it. Most music from Detroit really does have a darker heart lying somewhere underneath - even a lot of the Motown stuff. Also included are KISS and J. Geils - not truly from Detroit, but Detroit was where they first found their audiences. There are of course many bands not included - most notably the Knack, the White Stripes, Eminem, Insane Clown posse and many Motown artists. Didn't fit the vibe.
