My PFMS Trade 4 mix for Dleone. He asked for a shoegaze mix and this...sort of fits the bill. I was kind of loose with the genre, it's more of a shoegaze/dream pop/space pop/etc kind of thing. The mix he recieved for the last trade was Swoon37's brilliant High Lonesome Sound, which also got Mix of the Week, and which he called the best mix he'd ever been given. Some act to follow. So the first two tracks kind of transition from that mix. I included "Fade Into You" because I think it's a really great song that's been kind of ruined by overplaying and Reality Bites and so on. I'm hoping in the context of a mix like this it'll gain something back. I narrowed this down from at least 2 hours worth of songs...even considering doing a double mix for a while...but in the end, this flows very well and I'm pretty happy with it.
