Comment:

100 % Thrift store vinyl. An exploration in to cheezy pop from the 50s and the 60s. It is really fun, especially "Bald-Headed Woman", "Worried Man", "Put Your Hand in the Hand", and the irrepressable Serita proclaiming proudly, "San Francisco is MY Town!!!" I think most of you will either hate this or love it. Enjoy! =)

Add my name to the "love it" list. Thrift stores (and swap meets) are a goldmine for stuff like this. How much do you think you spent to acquire this fine collection? Thirty bucks?

I wish I could add my name to that list, buglady, but alas... *sighs* I admire the assembly of these tracks, though, and like the Chet Baker track.

That's okay Rob, I know it isn't for everyone's taste. And Ion, to be honest, I really don't know how much it all cost me. Some of the Goodwills around here sell their albums for 50 cents to a dollar. I may have invested all of 20 to 30 bucks, I guess.

Love it! I grew up w/my dad playing Vicki Carr...er, in the car...and I still dig her. Do Ho still reminds me of days off from school w/strep throat! This makes me smile! :-)

Excellent! This screamed "thrift store" before I read your comments! (You'd love my apartment.)
