Comment:
I made this tape to listen to while tearing down television sets during film school in the early ninties. The title refers to the practice of going to bars, or a house party, after a production is finished. And for a tape that I put together rather quickly, I was pleased with the results. The tape pretty much reflects my taste in music, fairly mainstream, but with some indy bands thrown in to break things up. I was also into the bands coming out of Manchester at the time. I tried to put songs on the mix that are catchy so as to please a large crew with many tastes in music. This tape is really a reaction to the many long and drawn out arguments over which radio station to listen to among the crews I worked with. Of all the tapes I've made, this one has the best continuity; and has stood the test of time, since it is nearly 10 years old. It also represents a pretty cool period of time in my life.
