Comment:

The likenesses between Stereolab, Pram, Broadcast and Melys inspired this mix, which more or less centres around Stereolab themselves, and bands which sound a bit like them - I've tried not to go for the obvious songs for each band to keep it interesting, with the notable exception of Melys, but Chinese Whispering best fits the theme of the mix I think. There's a bit too much indiepop, which results in stuff which is pleasant but essentially fluff (cf. that call and response track), making it on. I'm not completely satisfied with the running order either and some of the segues don't come off perfectly, but it's a pleasant enough listen.
