I have been a huge fan of Finger 11 since their early days as the Rainbow Butt Monkeys. This mix was for Matt, a Kiwi friend of mine who is currently swapping me New Zealand rock music for Canadian music. 'Awake + Dreaming' is most certainly my favourite Finger 11 song, lyrically + musically. ('I try but I can't say that I'm yours for good; support me, you said you would.') The idea for the cover came from a sketch I saw on the band's website done by James Black, the band's guitarist. I haven't heard any of their Butt Monkey stuff...I really must find some! I saw them live a few weeks ago and can't wait for the new cd.
Ah, I can see this was made before the s/t was released. No big loss. Needs more "Tip" and "As Far As I Can Spit", but it's wonderful that you included "Temporary Arms".
I saw 11 live in springfeild this month they were awsome!!!
