Comment:

A not so spectacular mix I made at the last moment for a girl who's leaving for grad school at Emory. Her musical taste spans all the way from System of a Down, to Linkin Park. She's never heard of most of the bands I put on here, but she said she want's a mix from me because she likes what I usually listen to. I don't see a problem with throwing The Hives, The Strokes, The White Stripes, Clinic, or Something Corporate on her mix since she doesn't watch M2 (and hasn't seen their videos). She'll most likely drop this cd in her stack, loan it to a friend, and never get it back; but she asked for it, so there it is. I tried to keep it to recent releases, realizing my initial attempts at exposing her to Scott Walker would just result in her skipping that song if she ever listens to this a second time (I replaced Scott Walker with Cousteau).

Looks good, but if it were up to me, I would've left on the Scott Walker pick.
