Comment:

This is the first of two recent mixes I've done this week. Title comes from the Whiskeytown track. I wish Ryan Adams would acknowledge his past in Whiskeytown. His solo work is good, but "Faithless Street", (the original and the re-issue), stand head and shoulders above those records.

A pretty cool mix. I'll take Mr. Adams' solo stuff over the Whiskeytown stuff, though (although I liked "Strangers Almanac" well enough when it came out). For my money, it's "Heartbreaker" that's head and shoulders above anything else he's done.

I'm glad you understand that I wasn't criticizing you, just chiming in for some discussion. :-) And you're welcome. There's some nice stuff on these mixes.

Hits of Sunshine -> Brilliant Corners is to good that I may have to steal it ;-) I won't get into the Ryan Adams vs. Whiskeytown debate 'cept to say, buy Caitlin Cary's "While You Weren't Looking." It's wonderful.
