So my friend in Chicago wanted a mix that alternated good old-fashioned hook-laden rock with more 'experimental', electronic stuff. So I started off that way (discounting the bookend tracks which are just lovely and that's all) and . . .well, she knows I'm easily sidetracked. It went in ok directions. And so my love affair with Raymond Scott and Angelo Badalamenti continues . . .
