it's pretty cool to trade mixes with him cause we live on opposite sides of the country now. i like it because it gives us the opportunity to introduce each other to new music. it is weird at the same time though. my dad's new favorite band is now the luckies.
Holy crap, I don't think I could ever get my dad to listen to the Luckies! It would even be hard to get him to listen to CSN! But, then again, my father is almost 70, and his favorite music(?) is military marches. Nice mix, by the way.

I make mixes for my kids all the time combining stuff I know they like with songs that I think they'll like (or that they should like). I look forward to when they start making mixes for me, but I'm willing to wait until their tastes mature a bit. I can only handle so much Creed....
creed sucks hard core. fortunately enough for both my father and me, the two of us listen only to good music, and that's all we put on our mixes.
