I made this on October 12, 2000, just because I felt like my making my best friend Andrew a mix. Also because, at the time, I was obsessed with "Weekends" and "Don't Mess With My Man", and Andy couldn't stop doing the howl from "Werewolves of London". But: That Pavement song reminded me of our time in high school. And: The Vera Lynn song is in one of Andrew's favorite movies (Dr Strangelove).Feedback:
It's also important to point out that the Blue Aeroplanes' version of Boy In the Bubble is superior to the original, because Paul Simon used to have an unhealthy fixation with wanky, processed bass sounds.
But I can't get into that Noel Gallagher song. Sorry.
Yeah, I know, you hated it then and you hate it now. Oh well.
Then again, you also used to hate the Destiny's Child song.
oh boy yr mixxxing it up crazy style, this is good 'cause for every dud (oh there aren't many i guess, i think "stay/go" by the clash is a bore tho for inst & anything by noel gallagher is probably gonna bore me too (oh well thats just me)) there's 2 or 3 shining classics (sly! destiny's child!! HEART!!!) & maybe a song or 2 i never even heard of as well...looks like a trip!
