It was mid-August 2000, and I was deeply smitten with a British boy who was coming to visit in September. I made this mix of North American bands for him (yeah, I know Thom Yorke's on there). I think the tape worked out; we didn't. Oh well.Feedback:
Great, great picks by Pavement, Quasi, Elliott Smith, Sebadoh... A lot more great bands on here. Though you use "Ladyfingers" a whole lot on your mix tapes, and I've always been partial to the earlier Luscious Jackson albums, especially "Fever In Fever Out" when they still had their keyboardist.
