July 2000: Via e-mail and the phone, I was getting to know an English boy named Nick (a friend of a friend). I liked him, he was responding in kind; therefore, I had to make him a tape. I divided the tape based on his equal love for funk and rock. And his childhood obsession with "Love in an Elevator". The Kate Bush: Because he likes her; also because he's from Yorkshire, the setting for Wuthering Heights. He made me read the book, and I loved it. He also told me that he'd take me on a tour of the moors if I visited. I never did.
