March 6, 1998: The second instalment in the all-girl mixed tape series. The first was made for my friend Sara; it was eaten by her car's deck, and never actually replaced. (Hence the "resurrection" title - this tape features many of the songs from her mix.)

nice mix! but no riot grrrl? still the runaways 'cherry bomb' is always incredible.

Thanks! Yeah, most of these girlie mixes are sorely lacking in grrrl. I don't actually have a lot of stuff from that movement - I really should seek some out.

Sadly, no, this particular "Be My Baby" is an original (actually co-written with Lenny Kravitz - I think they were seeing each other at the time). But it's just as catchy (it's made to sound like Sixties girl-group pop).
