Comment:

April 14, 1999: I thought, What if I programmed the oldies station? The answer: A lot of stuff from Rushmore. Made for good listening on the April 1999 road trip, especially when we drove through the badlands.

Wow, an oldies mix in which not one song makes me cringe ;-) I'm just wondering why you waited over three years to post another mix, then decided to flood the site? (Not that I'm complaining, 'cause all your mixes look cool!)

Thanks!

Scott-K: Three years ago, I flooded this site with mix tape lists. (I even got Mix of the Week for The Sun is a Front, yet it is nowhere in the archives. Bah!) Then there was a site formatting change, and most of my lists got messed up, so I deleted them.

Recently, my best friend Andrew (Forbes, a regular contributor) told me that he'd received some good feedback about a mix I'd made him (Honey Punch). I figured it was a good time to flood the site again. The sad part is, I'm not quite done.

And there you have it.

P.S. The non-cringe aspect factored heavily in the decision-making for this mix. I'm glad it worked for someone else besides myself. (I lose most people with the Foghat.)
