February 13, 2000: When Andrew Forbes left school and took a full-time job at the music web site where I worked, I made this tape to tease him. It was funny at the time.Feedback:
"This is Hell" is a great song, but I still can't figure out why you didn't use "Welcome to the Working Week." Too obvious?
I actually considered it, but I thought "This is Hell" fit better musically (and, in retrospect, literally).
Quasi is really great for an "overworked"-themed album. For beck, I might've used "Soul Sucking Jerk" instead. And I probably would have used Elliott Smith's "Christian Brothers."
