Comment:
every song, EVER, probably has a j-pop counterpart. i'm away from my computer so i can't remember the other songs and artists on this cd, but, yeah, you get the idea.Feedback:
actually tide is high is either john holt or jimmy cliff or some other reggae dude. little help?
Wow! Two j-pop mixes back to back. Has that ever happened before? Looks good. I love that Cibo Matto Nirvana cover. Haven't heard their Soundgarden one. I think The Tide Is High was originally done by the Paragons
j-pop is the best! i booked Mummy The Peepshow recently at the club where i work, they're also an excellent live-band. if you're into this sort of thing you should also check out Billy Child. They're a very loud Japanese old-style R,n'R-trio (www.billy-child.com). oh yeah, great mix BTW
...and yeah, The Tide is High is indeed by the Paragons (= John Holt)
sweet googly moogly! i like it!
I believe Petty Booka also covered Gomez's "Whipping Picadilly"
would love to hear this...
This is so cool.
