Comment:
This isn't my mix, I don't know who did it but I've had it forever and it rocks. This tape got passed around alot when I was in High school in the 80's and 60's garage punk was pretty popular. The cover on this tape is a photo copy of a copy of a copy etc. etc. and its hard to read the track listing , so if anyone knows the artists of the two tracks I obviously can't read , please let me Know. The sound quality is surprisingly good cosidering there was no re-mastering done here and most of these songs were copied from vinyl rescued from thrift store oblivion.Feedback:
Don't know the first song. I think 'We Tried, Try It' is by The Movin' Morfomen. Will there be a vol. 2?
nice stuff. Lots of hard to find psych classics contained here
whoever did it did a great job.
What Sue said. :-)
the standells did the original version of "We Tried, Try It" and the morfomen covered it.I'm not sure about "take time to be yourself". maybe the unusuals?
a very nice mix. I'd like to hear it. :D

Sounds great.
I think you guys might be right about the morfomen , looks like that might be what it says, looks more like monomen though
Some classics here, though I have to admit that way too many bands did "Hey Joe". I only really like the Music Machine's version (well, that and Hendrix, of course).
Great mixes never die! Looks good.
Fab mix, did you know that Lincoln street exit was an Souix Indian band? Cool band! Music Machine is fab group!
looks fantastic.
OOPS , That Cryin' Shames song is called "BenFranklin's Almanac"
i only know 1 song by the Lincoln St Exit, it's called "Dirty Mother Blues" & it deals with narcotics addiction. Do you know it? it's *shit hot*.
