Comment:

for a friend who asked me for a tape that was "strictly chicks". i tried to go the "before there were grrrrls" route...but i had to throw some recent arteests in, you see. also, i added some that don't hit you right off as "female" acts, but the female vocals are such, that i had to give 'em their time in the sun.
i think it turned out splendidly.
