Comment:

an introductory mix, heavy on the barsuk flava, for a lovely girl who rocks out with me at all the shows in this town. this tape is what happens when a girl who can't, these days, make mixtapes that aren't all about being in love, tries to do so. the first side ["garden green"] is unbridled happiness/singalong, the second side ["graveyard grey"] is me trying desperately to be sad - what i normally do best. it's a bit halted sounding, but the transition between the long winters & the radar brothers on the second side gives me goosebumps. huzzah!
