I wanted to make a tape that celebrates the spirit of the "DIY" ethos that was also a little off the beaten path. Admittedly this list is anglocentric, but I included some nuggets some the American midwest and New Zealand. There were a few cases where I couldn't help including two tracks from the same artist. Overcome with awe.Absolutely love that Funboy Five song,am still a huge D.Bikes fan 30 years after the event,Dolly Mixture,so cute,so tough,my girlfriend bought me Thin Yoghurts single for my birthday last year,and yes the Scrotum Poles deserve two tracks,I would have stuck Radio Tay on the other side.I'm going to stick that O Level single on now and revisit my youth.You are a genius at the mixing desk,sir.
