Comment:

The Stones when they gave up being revolutionaries and became professionals. Sure, there's no "Brown Sugar" on here, but it's still better than a Foghat greatest hits album. "Drift Away" is a cover of the 70s AM song. It's from a bootleg and it's the bizz-omb.

Good call on the picks & summary of this period. I consider Some Girls to be the last true Stones LP.

Yes, if you don't mind waiting about six weeks. I won't have my good tapedeck with me until then.

Yes, they did record some pretty unmemorable albums during this period. Crazy Mama has always been a guilty pleasure.

Fingerprint File! YES!!! ANY band from the past twenty years would wish their "mediocre period" was this good. 100 Years was good enough for Stone Temple Pilots to rip off on Too Cool Queenie.

I'm with lo-fi here....but that one is "big worthy"! Good stuff....

Hmm... interesting idea... some very cool picks (although the omission of "Winter", "Luxury", "Till the Next Goodbye" and "If You Really Want to Be My Friend" saddens me). I'd say that "Tattoo You" is the last good Stones album, personally, as I actually prefer it to "Some Girls".
