Comment:
I made this fo a friend of mine who has only two cds. They're both REM, and he hates "loud guitars." So this is a mix to kinda piss him off and test his will to see if he'll make it to side B.Feedback:
There's definately no element of gentle hums in that first song, "Shit Luck." That's a pretty rough way to start a mix tape. I would've probably opted for "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine" or "Lounge" off of that Modest Mouse album to start off with if you wanted to start with a kick. This is a pretty good mix of bands. Modest Mouse, Pixies, Nirvana, The Strokes, The Shins and Death Cab paint a very definite picture of a certain kind of raw kind of rock music. I probably also would've included some Neutral Milk Hotel (I always opt for their song "Song Against Sex"), maybe some Sebadoh or Quasi.
hmmmm good point.....oh well, the title was kinda a joke. It wasn't supposed to describe the tapeit was more of something as an inside joke between us. I wanted to call it 'FizzyFuzzy'
