Comment:

A mix I made for my friend Laura last night. She likes guitar pop, as do I, so this is pretty much what it is. Mostly my standard "mix tape" songs, with a few early 90s flashbacks throw in. Blah.

Hey! This is really cool! Especially side one (which is not a dis of side two, which shares the same admirable attributes as its sibling) Love the Dressy Bessy, those old school Free Design kids, the lovely Zumpano and Unrest, those death metal poseurs Tahiti 80, the MBVish Cornelius and the XTCish You Am I, the classic timeless pop of the Lefte Banke, the brilliance of the Buzzcocks, the underrated Sugar, and the optimistic and wonderful Zombies song..

Okay, I think I was a bit "under the influence" when I wrote that first comment, but I meant every word I said!

Dunno if Aluminum Group's "Mattachine Society" fits the guitar pop bill, but it's still a damn fine song... and a great mix... and Good God man! "Molly" by Fossil!
