Comment:
Follow up to the CD I posted last week; same concept, all songs under 2:30 given my proclivities for the short and the snappy. Tried to use completely different artists than last time since otherwise I could make several discs worth of this type of mix with the Minutemen, Beach Boys and GBV alone.Feedback:
you should consider entering my contest. it's listed under "you haven't got the balls..."
No need for a contest (I may be the only one growing tired of rosy's pleas)...your mix is unique enough to win compliments from me. I didn't realize that there were this many good tunes under that time limit. Especially dig the Replacements, Liz Phair, and Sleater-Kinney tracks. This mix is well done...much better than the title indicates. (As an aside, I went to the NHL All-Star game last Sunday and walked through our beloved skyways and found myself humming that sad 'Mats song happily, somehow)
This looks cool. Ditto on the 'Mats pick, and a bunch of other cool stuff too.
Orange Juice! cool!
