Comment:
This was made for an old friend from college that I just talked to for the first time in about seven years. Since I had no idea how in the hell how her musical taste had evolved since then, this was a totally blind stab in the dark (and an attempt to make it look like my own tastes had evolved in any way at all since the early 1990's). So Wilco, the Lips, and Ani DiFranco are on there to establish some current credibility, Pearl Jam and New Order make it on there as nods to the hazy past, Cat Stevens evokes the limited resources of one's parents' record collection if one was born in the early 70's, and "Cana-dee-i-o" and "Hallelujah" are just a couple of the greatest songs ever that cut across time and space and taste. Hopefully.Feedback:
This is really, really sweet... and I think we were in college at the same time, more or less.
nicely done.
