Obviously this is a tribute mix to H.P. Lovecraft. I figured since nobody's done a decent film adaptation, I could at least enjoy one of my favorite authors in music. Unfortunately, though literally hundreds of bands have made music related to his stories, most of it is death metal or butt rock crap. These twelve songs were all I could find and tolerate. Thankfully, half the album is instrumental. I almost included Metallica's "Call of Ktulu" but I just can't bring myself to put a band I hate on a tribute for a man I love.
