Comment:
I chose to place this radio mix under the "theme" category because it's not ALL funk or soul or vintage r&b. It's just great music by awesome musicians and singers. It was an experimental show for me on KWVA (University of Oregon) and it went really well ... a nice change from the usual programming. Almost all the songs with the exception of a couple of tracks are straight off of vinyl. (I cheated with the Money Mark track ... new stuff. But it worked.)
Feedback:
beautiful mix (*said from someone at the rival school, even*)
This is just great.
Now that's what I call radio! Brilliant. Two of my favourite Sly tracks too...
Phenomenal, Martha. Trade negotiations will begin when one of us actually e-mails the other. ;-) (GREAT choice of "Father Christmas" as one of your requests, btw...)
way cool.
never mind cheating. great dance-mix!!
how could i missed this one, great stuff allaround
