Comment:

I'm sure you've all figured this one out by now; it's pretty straightforward. I've actually been planning this mix for quite a while; when I actually started making it, I was surprised at how many songs there were to choose from--except, of course, for a couple of tricky letters. Some may argue that putting the "Xena" theme song for X is cheating, but honestly, what "X" names are there but Xena? Xenobia, maybe? Yes, well, I looked for a Xenobia song, and as far as I can tell, it does not exist. Anyway, I think the Xena song is pretty funny. I had to split this mix up onto two CD's, because it was a bit too long for one--grr--the second CD begins with James Taylor. I tried to make it all flow pretty well, which I think it does, although there are a couple of bipolar moments, which couldn't be avoided without omitting some great songs. So there you have it. Happy days.
Necessary Update: Alright, I just have to add this. I've been in a pathetic state of agony ever since I realized that I totally should have used Jump, Little Children's "Dancing Virginia" for V. So if anyone asks for this mix ever again, just know that there are now officially two versions. I just had to get that out. Call it a kind of catharsis, if you will.

What a cool theme. AND it's a theme I actually understand, which is something to be proud of in and of itself.
