Comment:

This CD is for a young lady that I used to tutor in Chemistry. She just graduated high school, and plays flute in an orchestra. She is very receptive to new music, and so I have also been tutoring her on that subject. She specially requested the Crispin Glover tune (it comes from an obscure film called Twister that I lent her a copy of). The rest just sort of developed around that track, I tried to use songs with orchestral instruments, or with the appropriate mood. The title comes from an Edward Gorey story (another thing we both love). This is my farewell gift to her, as I will be soon moving to another part of California. p.s. Thanks to Thomas Mohr for the Cat Power track!

yes as an old and never fading music lover, you got to have responsibility to learn the kids what's good and what's not(read Linkin park) BTW it's a cool mix

Phenomenal, buglady. I'll want this, as well, when we both have enought time to breathe, let alone trade.

Hey, this looks incredible. The Crisp RULES. And any CD feat. the great ol' Tom Lehrer looks like a surefire winner to me. May I call you Mira from now on (and have a copy of this)? Thanks for the credit, BTW.
