Comment:

This MD is the 2nd half of a 2-disc set of songs about leaving Japan: friends, security, familiarity, for something foreign. This one also went out to my lost friends: Hiromi, Koji, Junko, Kat, Matt, + Rich. This mix is a bit of a dummy- I just took some of the songs that I had rejected when I was putting together the 1st disc. These songs are mellower, except perhaps for the 'Steam' song, which I wouldn't have included, in retrospect (it's a bit too... I don't know... happy?)The Cyndi Lauper track is 'specially for Kat, while the last song is in memory of some great karaoke sessions! The title comes from 1 of my favourites in the mix- the Great big sea song. Admittedly, many of these songs are decidedly 'girly,' but they do fairly well at voicing some of the things I never got to say. +, once again, if Hiromi, Koji, Junko, Kat, Matt, + Rich are out there, take care of each other, + I will see you again someday! Always, out.

I hope your lost friends are deaf, so they never have to hear this awful crap!

Stink what you will, Stinky, I LIKE this mix. Label me anything you like. Terry Jacks is King.
